Lilihan Rugs

Lilihan rugs are associated with Armenian weavers in the Arak region of western-central Iran. Market examples frequently use curving floral drawing, medallions and warm red or rose fields, although individual rugs vary. Their character is generally softer and more informal than a tightly controlled city-workshop carpet.
