Tissé par les Kurdes du district de Bidjar en Perse, il possède cette robustesse célèbre ainsi que des couleurs magnifiques et richement saturées — grâce à sa laine filée à la main et teinte végétale.
Au premier coup d'œil, le regard est attiré par son champ rouge flamboyant, sillonné de délicates vignes sarcelle qui forment un treillis en losange. Dans chaque losange, vous trouverez des motifs floraux stylisés en bleu marine profond et vert émeraude vif, avec des touches d'orange safran qui semblent presque lumineux sur le fond rouge. Une fine bordure de fleurs aux couleurs tout aussi vives lie l'ensemble, ajoutant un cadre parfait à une pièce déjà débordante de l'artisanat kurde.

Returns
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount for the item(s), but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Care Instructions
Vacuuming
Regular vacuuming keeps your rug looking its best and extends its lifespan, reducing the need for professional cleaning. For best results, vacuum both the front and back sides of the rug from side to side, avoiding the fringes.
Spills
If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.
Professional Rug Cleaning
It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option. Always choose a professional rug cleaner who specializes in cleaning fine, handwoven carpets. If you’re in the GTA, we can provide professional rug cleaning for you!

Le secret ? Les tisserands utilisent une technique unique consistant à tasser fermement la laine au fur et à mesure du tissage, créant ainsi un tapis capable de durer des siècles sans se déformer.
