Tapis Hamadan semi-ancien avec motif Hérati Mahi et écoinçons d'angle foncés

Le motif Hérati se trouve au centre de ce tapis Hamadan, tandis que les couleurs plus foncées choisies pour les écoinçons d'angle créent une distinction subtile sur les bords et aident le motif général à s'intégrer dans une composition globale.

Le tisserand a utilisé ce simple changement de couleur très efficacement, guidant le regard vers le centre du tapis. La bordure principale, avec sa répétition discrète, renforce cet accent, attirant l'attention sur le champ central et ses motifs de poissons et de lotus.

Le motif Hérati, également connu sous le nom de Mahi ou motif de poisson, est traditionnellement construit autour d'une fleur centrale, souvent décrite comme un lotus, avec des feuilles incurvées ou des formes autour d'elle qui ressemblent à des poissons en mouvement. Au fil du temps, ce motif a évolué vers un motif plus symbolique et abstrait.

Dans les tapis plus contemporains, le motif de poisson apparaît souvent plus petit et plus fin. Le motif Mahi de ce tapis Hamadan est plus proche du style des pièces plus anciennes, ce qui lui confère un caractère plus traditionnel et intemporel.

Returns

We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount for the item(s), but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Vacuuming

Regular vacuuming keeps your rug looking its best and extends its lifespan, reducing the need for professional cleaning. For best results, vacuum both the front and back sides of the rug from side to side, avoiding the fringes.

Spills

If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.

Professional Rug Cleaning

It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option.
