Les ateliers persans expérimentent parfois des motifs qui dissimulent presque l'origine de la fabrication d'un tapis. À première vue, cette pièce pourrait être confondue avec un tapis Art déco chinois du milieu du siècle, avec son champ ouvert et ses bouquets de fleurs minimalistes.

Pendant une grande partie du siècle dernier, de nombreux métiers à tisser chinois ont produit des adaptations de motifs persans classiques pour l'exportation. Ici, l'histoire est inversée. La structure, le nouage et le toucher sont indubitablement ceux d'un tissage iranien de qualité, ce qui confère une ambiance Art déco subtile avec une véritable qualité persane.

Le tisserand a choisi un bleu doux, semblable à celui du ciel, qui procure une sensation d'ouverture et d'expansion, comme si vous regardiez directement un ciel de printemps clair. De deux côtés, de délicates branches de fleurs s'inclinent dans le cadre et rompent délicatement l'espace vide.

Regarder ce tapis, c'est comme être allongé par terre et contempler le ciel, avec seulement une paire de branches fleuries au bord de votre champ de vision. C'est une œuvre d'art discrètement poétique qui vous invite à faire une pause et à simplement regarder.

Returns

We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount for the item(s), but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Care Instructions

Vacuuming

Regular vacuuming keeps your rug looking its best and extends its lifespan, reducing the need for professional cleaning. For best results, vacuum both the front and back sides of the rug from side to side, avoiding the fringes.

Spills

If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.

Professional Rug Cleaning

It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option. Always choose a professional rug cleaner who specializes in cleaning fine, handwoven carpets. If you’re in the GTA, we can provide professional rug cleaning for you!
