Grand Tapis Meymeh avec Médaillon Indigo
Un tissage villageois raffiné avec une palette douce, ensoleillée et un dessin magnifiquement discipliné.
Ce Meymeh possède cet équilibre que j'aime toujours dans un beau tapis de village : géométrie nette, espacement délicat et une palette qui est douce plutôt que criarde.
Le champ se présente comme un corail-saumon chaud avec une douce teinte pêche, adoucie par l'âge et la lumière de la plus belle des manières. Au centre se trouve un médaillon en forme de losange indigo profond, fortement découpé et rempli de petites formes florales, ce qui donne à l'ensemble de la composition un ancrage visuel fort sans surcharger le champ. Autour, la surface est parsemée de rosettes soignées, de brindilles fleuries, de formes végétales stylisées et de petits motifs géométriques qui ressemblent presque à un treillis floral fragmenté en motifs individuels. La bordure principale marine encadre magnifiquement le tout, tandis que des touches de bleu poudré, de bleu ciel, d'ivoire, de taupe et de brun atténué maintiennent le dessin vivant et raffiné.
Ce qui rend ce tapis particulièrement attrayant, c'est sa clarté. Les tapis Meymeh ont souvent une élégance nette et ordonnée, et celui-ci en est un parfait exemple. Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) in North America
For Canada and the USA, no duties or import fees will apply at delivery (effective August 2025).
Returns
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount for the item(s), but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Care Instructions
Vacuuming
Regular vacuuming keeps your rug looking its best and extends its lifespan, reducing the need for professional cleaning. For best results, vacuum both the front and back sides of the rug from side to side, avoiding the fringes.
Spills
If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.
Professional Rug Cleaning
It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option. Always choose a professional rug cleaner who specializes in cleaning fine, handwoven carpets. If you’re in the GTA, we can provide professional rug cleaning for you!
