Il y a quelque chose de profondément émouvant dans un tapis qui raconte l'histoire de sa propre création. Cette pièce nomade de Shiraz est un "Zehni-baft", ce qui signifie qu'elle est tissée entièrement de mémoire sans carte écrite. On y voit la main d'un jeune tisserand, travaillant avec une passion qui dépasse son expérience.

Alors qu'un expert pourrait repérer des "particularités charmantes" dans le motif, ce sont précisément ces moments qui donnent vie au tapis. On peut sentir la concentration du tisserand alors qu'il pratiquait ce dessin complexe et figuratif. Les deux médaillons centraux s'élèvent comme des pics montagneux déchiquetés et superposés, tandis que des aigles stylisés s'envolent dans le ciel au-dessus.

For Canada and the USA, no duties or import fees will apply at delivery (effective August 2025).

Returns

We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount for the item(s), but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Care Instructions

Vacuuming

Regular vacuuming keeps your rug looking its best and extends its lifespan, reducing the need for professional cleaning. For best results, vacuum both the front and back sides of the rug from side to side, avoiding the fringes.

Spills

If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.

Professional Rug Cleaning

It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option. Always choose a professional rug cleaner who specializes in cleaning fine, handwoven carpets. If you’re in the GTA, we can provide professional rug cleaning for you!
