Vist est un village situé dans la vaste région de tissage de tapis d'Arak. Les tapis de Vist (également appelé Viss ou Wiss) présentent la même technique de tissage et la même qualité que ceux d'Arak, mais ce village a son propre design distinctif, particulièrement caractéristique de cette région.
Le motif présente un champ relativement ouvert avec trois médaillons : un grand médaillon hexagonal au centre, et deux médaillons plus petits en forme de losange avec des bords anguleux et dentelés. On retrouve également une impression de formes dentelées répétées se déplaçant des pièces d'angle et des bordures vers le centre du tapis.
Une autre caractéristique importante de ce village est sa teinture végétale exceptionnelle. Les couleurs ont une grande force, stabilité et durabilité, ce qui place les tapis Wiss dans une catégorie très élevée en termes de résistance.
Cette combinaison de tissage robuste, de caractère villageois et de couleurs magnifiquement durables confère au tapis une confiance tranquille et une présence distinctive.

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) in North America
For Canada and the USA, no duties or import fees will apply at delivery (effective August 2025).
Returns
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount for the item(s), but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Care Instructions
Vacuuming
Regular vacuuming keeps your rug looking its best and extends its lifespan, reducing the need for professional cleaning. For best results, vacuum both the front and back sides of the rug from side to side, avoiding the fringes.
Spills
If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.
Professional Rug Cleaning
It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option. Always choose a professional rug cleaner who specializes in cleaning fine, handwoven carpets. If you’re in the GTA, we can provide professional rug cleaning for you!
