Shop Runners Around Nine Feet Long

This collection groups runners near nine feet in length, but each handmade rug has its own exact dimensions. Available widths and lengths vary, and the selection changes as one-of-a-kind pieces sell. Current formats can include Persian and Caucasian pile runners as well as Turkish and Persian kilim runners, so the length category does not imply one construction or origin.

Measure Width, Length and Clearance

Measure the narrowest usable width of the hallway or passage, including door trim and any floor vents. Then compare the listed runner width, not just its nominal length. Decide how much floor should remain visible at the sides and ends. In a hallway with several doors, mark each swing and include the thickness of any rug pad before choosing.

Pattern direction can affect placement. A strong central axis may emphasize the length of a corridor, while a repeating field can read more evenly from either end. Use each product page for exact dimensions and the available evidence about origin, fibre, pile or flatweave construction, age, condition and repairs. Do not assume every nine-foot runner has the same width, thickness or care needs.
