Baluch rugs - also spelled Balouch or Baluchi - are hand‑knotted by the Baloch people who live across eastern Iran (notably Khorasan and Sistan), western Pakistan and southern Afghanistan. Originally woven in small, portable formats for tent life, these carpets feature repeated geometric motifs and deep, moody palettes. Supple wool piles and compact sizes make them ideal for doorways, layered interiors and cozy corners, while their tribal heritage gives collectors a genuine link to nomadic culture.
