Hosseinabad rugs belong to the broad Hamadan-area village tradition of western Iran. Many are runners or practical room-size rugs with durable wool pile, angular drawing and repeating geometric or floral units. Variation is normal because the name describes a local weaving group rather than one standardized workshop pattern.
