Persian Koliai Rugs

Koliai, also written Kolyai or Koliayi, is a western Iranian Kurdish weaving and trade group. Runners and long rugs are familiar formats, and Songhor Koliayi may appear in product descriptions. Individual rugs can differ in structure, palette and drawing, so the label should not be reduced to one medallion or border pattern.
