Hand‑spun wool and natural dyes give this Fars Province beauty a soft, lustrous surface, while three nested diamonds float on a field of madder‑crimson. Look closer and you’ll find stylised birds, tiny angular flowers, and protective hook motifs picked out in turquoise‑verdigris, camel, charcoal and shell‑pink. The border zigzags echo local tribal kilims, a nod to nomadic roots.

It’s the perfect size for a reading nook, a music studio (I’m picturing it under that jazz turntable), or layered in front of a hearth. The colour mix is lively but not loud—ideal when you want a dash of soul without overpowering the room.

Vacuuming

Spills

If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.

Professional Rug Cleaning

It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option.
