Qom Rugs

Qom rugs (or Qum, Ghom, Ghum) are made in the Qom Province of Iran, around 100 km south of Tehran. This province is around 100 km south of Tehran. These carpets are not very old. People started making them in the past 100 years. But Qom silk and wool rugs have high quality and are very expensive. The makers of these rugs are proud of their product. They often weave their name in a small part of the border. The rugs of Qom have many different styles and patterns. They usually copy old patterns from other sources.
