This lively Baluch runner is practically chirping with life. Look at the ivory guard borders: every few inches a stylised bird—often read as a peacock with its tail fanned—faces its partner across the vine. A few of the larger red corner panels and the main field even carry fuller, twin‑peacock devices.
Inside it, five midnight‑indigo octagons (“guls”) float on a ground of inky navy, madder‑red, and almond‑beige, surrounded by angular vines and tiny rosettes that feel like stars in the night sky.
Where it sings: down a narrow entrance hall, along the side of a kitchen island, or at the foot of a single bed where the avian parade can be fully admired. The low 7 mm pile drapes easily yet has the sturdy handle Baluch pieces are known for, so it will handle everyday foot traffic with grace.
