At the center sits a stepped cruciform medallion whose layers shift from apricot gold to lilac to green, each tier edged by a neat ram’s-horn outline. Corner spandrels pick up the same violet and emerald notes, creating an almost patchwork frame that energizes the whole composition.

Look closer and you will find a lively cast: goats, grazing deer, perched birds, and tiny houses, all scattered between geometric blossoms and abstract trees. The animals are drawn with the naïve confidence typical of Northwest Persian village looms, yet they are spaced with real design intelligence so the field never feels crowded.

Vacuuming

Spills

If spills occur, blot them immediately with a cloth. Then spray water on the spot and blot again, repeating as needed. For pet urine, spray white vinegar to help break down the enzymes that cause odor.

Professional Rug Cleaning

It’s generally recommended to have your rug professionally cleaned every five years, but trust your instincts—if it appears to need cleaning, don’t hesitate to have it washed. Hand-knotted carpets should never be dry cleaned or steam cleaned. Wall-to-wall carpet cleaning companies are usually not a good option.
