Vist is home to both urban and nomadic Bakhtiari residents, and the influence of these diverse groups is evident in the weaving of wool rugs here. Because of its nomadic population, most Viss rugs feature geometric designs, indicating a tribal rug. They are well-liked because they are one of the few geometric room-size types with tribal design elements.
