Choose a Hallway Runner by Exact Width and Length

Measure the usable hallway from end to end and across its narrowest point. Note doors, vents, radiators, corners and transitions into adjoining rooms. Decide how much floor should remain visible around the runner, then use the exact product dimensions rather than assuming every hallway needs a standard length.

The current collection includes Persian, Turkish, Afghan and Caucasian runners across a wide range of lengths. It contains both knotted-pile rugs and flatwoven kilims or Soumak pieces. Construction, fibre, age and condition vary, so use the individual product page for those details.

Check Clearance, Direction and Pattern

Include rug-pad thickness when a door or threshold is close. Make sure edges remain outside door arcs and do not obstruct the walking path. A directional design may need a specific orientation, while an allover repeat can read similarly from both ends. Pattern scale, border width and visible floor also change how a long corridor feels.
